Women shape the world every day—through their creativity, resilience, leadership, and the impact they leave in their communities. This year, in honor of International Women’s Day, I am launching a special project dedicated to highlighting the stories of women who inspire change. And I want you to be part of it!
The Vision
This initiative is an artistic and narrative project designed to celebrate and showcase the presence, work, and contributions of women from all fields—art, therapy, business, education, science, activism, and beyond. It will unfold in two stages:
Stage 1: A Visual Tribute (March 8th)
The first step of this project was a collective artwork, featuring eight incredible women who was portrayed through a line-art composition—an aesthetic and symbolic tribute to the power and influence of women. This piece has been shared on March 8th, celebrating their presence and contributions.
For International Women’s Day, on 8th of March 2025, I wanted to highlight 8 incredible women who inspire through their passion, creativity, and dedication:
Mara Trefas – A singer-songwriter who sees music as her sanctuary and the stage as her true place of freedom. In the past year, she launched her first pop/indie songs, including “Fii tu”, “Zbor”, “Copilul din tine”, and “Tu”. For Mara, music is a journal of emotions, a journey of self-discovery, and an ever-evolving story. Her latest release adds to this evolving narrative, fueling her drive to continue sharing her powerful journey through music.
Alexandra – The founder of Școala Inspirației (School of Inspiration), an educational community that promotes learning through creativity, inspiration, and real engagement. Through interactive activities and resources, she encourages teachers, parents, and students to transform education into a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
Bianca – A fashion branding and marketing graduate with a deep love for culture and sustainability. From opening a flower shop during the pandemic to working in e-commerce at a prestigious fashion house, freelancing in branding, and interning in cultural sustainability—her journey is a testament to perseverance and passion for heritage.
Rebeca – A passionate artist who embraces the power of feminine expression in her work. For her, showcasing women through art is both a personal and meaningful pursuit. She believes that International Women's Day is the perfect moment to illuminate and celebrate women’s presence and impact.
Andreea – A journalist and multi-disciplinary artist who has explored music, dance, photography, poetry, and theater. She believes that art is timeless and boundless, living through every moment she experiences. Whether she’s sharing the beauty of life, enjoying quiet reflection, or being the life of the party, Andreea adapts to every situation, embracing life exactly as it is.
Hadia – A visionary who set out to leave a mark on the world from a young age. At just 18, she founded her own literary magazine, creating a space for creativity and expression. Her wisdom, curiosity, and passion inspire those around her, proving that possibilities are endless for those who dare to dream.
Astrid – A fashion and furniture designer from Malmö, Sweden, with a deep passion for creation and craftsmanship. Winner of the Upcycle RE:DENIM Challenge, she embraces sustainability in fashion design. Now based near Gothenburg, she continues to explore new creative avenues while also managing a family business focused on stone and interior design.
Arianna – A Creative Business and Media Management graduate with a passion for storytelling and content creation. With hands-on experience in media, marketing, and production, she has worked on diverse projects, from branding to audiovisual storytelling. Now based in Berlin, she continues to explore the industry, blending creativity with strategy to shape compelling narratives.
How can you be part of it?
If you wish to be included in this tribute, I would need your consent to use a reference photo, which will be transformed into an artistic illustration. This will be a visual representation of how women create change together.
Stage 2: Deeper Stories & Conversations
Beyond the visual tribute, I aim to go deeper—engaging with more women and highlighting their stories through interviews. This second phase will provide a platform for you to share your journey, your challenges, your passions, and the ways you contribute to shaping a better world.
You can answer the interview questions in your own time, ensuring you have the space to reflect and express yourself freely. The final outcome of this stage is still in development, but it will be a meaningful way to amplify women’s voices and impact.
Why This Matters
This project aligns with the 2025 International Women’s Day theme, which encourages us to take real steps towards women's advancement by:
Supporting women’s economic empowerment
Promoting diverse leadership
Elevating creative and artistic talent
Encouraging education, health, and sustainability
Every woman has a story worth telling. By participating, you are not only celebrating yourself but also inspiring others and contributing to a collective movement.

FAQ
What does this movement look like in practice? The main outcome is an online publication and gallery-style showcase, featuring a collective line-art visual composition of all participating women, alongside short interviews that tell your story. While the focus is currently online (Instagram, website, and possibly Threads), I am exploring future possibilities of physical exhibitions or printed zines depending on interest and support.
Is the interview in text format only, or does it include video/audio content as well? The interview is in written format only, and you can choose whether you'd like to write your answers directly or do it in a casual email format with me guiding the process. There's no video/audio component unless participants express interest in that in the future.
How did I discover you? I came across your profile through for e.g., a mutual follower, a hashtag, or a specific post that caught my attention. Your work stood out because of the clear passion and thoughtful approach you share, which aligns beautifully with the spirit of the project. It felt like you'd bring such a valuable and inspiring perspective!
